There's some truth to that, though I must say the offense we run is not equipped to make the most of our players talents.

Why do you have no issue with the staff's ability to coach or prepare?
Preparation is a far different issue than actually having the ability to perform the preparation. No matter how well one prepares it cannot over come superior athletes who negate your preparation. We are once again back to recruiting where we totally fail.

I'm sorry man but that is just idiotic thinking.

If you know your line sucks and can't block you need to put an RB or extra TE back there to help the blocking.

The way he is yo yo-ing the QBs is straight up HORRID game day coaching.

The excuse making you are doing is weak sauce.

Most of our players probably shouldn't be playing D1 football......
No there is some talent on the team, and I think our players are D1 players just at the second string level of non P5 programs. Which is high enough not to get embarrassed if you have competent coaching.
Our talent level is commensurate with our #100 team ranking. That means we are still better than 28 other teams, but worse than 99 teams.

Though the run-n-shoot was supposed to be an "equalizer" when playing against better talent?
