I think this whole population debate is a little beside the point. All those good people in the Northeast don’t care much about college sports. There’s a reason there are only 2 P5 members in all of NY and NE, and even they don’t remotely carry their weight in the ACC.

Rutgers was probably the last major conference add that will ever happen based just on there being eyeballs in the state. SMU is fortunate to be in good recruiting territory and where people also care about college sports. Not enough of them care about SMU but a lot more do now than did before the ΓÇ£DallasΓÇ¥ campaign, and many more will again with a P5 conference.

PAC teams schedule very few games in Texas. What recruiting coordinator wouldn't want recurring appearances in Dallas? Notice that A&M, Arkansas, Baylor etc participate in those spectacles out at Jerry World rather than just scheduling a home and home with us.

Yormark is telling everyone that they have an expansion plan, but they can't share it right now. He also said they're also happy at 14 teams. But after this year they'll have 12.

They can't share it because it is dependent on PAC teams that they have not managed to shake loose. I really hope they add UConn. Nothing would do more to further dilute the Big 12 "brand" than that.

What a whiny little b****. You can't lose to Georgia by 400 points and then throw stones at Mizzou and A$M for not being successful in the $EC.

My retirement plan involves Sonny losing to Colorado in like 6 weeks.

Which odds are longer? Us beating TCU or CO beating TCU?

Just my opinion, but I don’t think that Prime will have a cohesive unit playing together for a long time.

I agree with this, and this is his first game, on the road, in Texas heat? No way Colorado wins that one.

Would be devastating for tcu fans who are now as hopeful as ever about their football program after last year. A loss to Colorado would quite possibly be followed by a loss to SMU pushing some off the deep end.

I hate those frogs, and sonny the snake as much as any Mustang does, but we need the frogs undefeated when we play them so we can be the first to beat them.

Nah. Whether they win or lose doesn't bother me...just that WE beat them.

Can't see Sanders staying in Boulder more than 2 seasons ... if that.
If they have a good year, he's gone after 1.

Right now TCU is favored over CU by 20 points. Over SMU by 2.5 points. CU might be a good bet to beat the spread.
