Can you please elaborate on the glaring error(s)?StallionsModelT wrote:I'm hoping that LB and the team are not happy with their performance and will work hard to correct the glaring errors.
Three straight games with opponents making double digit three point shots and a season-long trend of giving up the three. Yes we are a very good interior defensive team but our perimeter defense is poor and has been all season. If that isn't corrected we'll be one and done. This team has much more potential than just showing up at the tournament. We can win a few and make some noise but if we are going to just let teams bomb us with uncontested shots then quality teams will show us the door.LA_Mustang wrote:Can you please elaborate on the glaring error(s)?StallionsModelT wrote:I'm hoping that LB and the team are not happy with their performance and will work hard to correct the glaring errors.
Other than the three point stuff, what glaring errors are you talking about?StallionsModelT wrote:will work hard to correct the glaring errors.
Ben E's play? It's almost like having 4 on 5 when he is out there.Mustangs35SMU wrote:Other than the three point stuff, what glaring errors are you talking about?StallionsModelT wrote:will work hard to correct the glaring errors.
The only thing I can think of is Markus FT shooting....which is never going to be lights out.
That's one, in your opinion, what are the others? And look, I'm not saying we can't defend the three better. But there is only so much you can do. I watched half of the game and listened to the other half. When I was watching ECU had some open threes from great ball movement, and on breaks. Sometimes there is nothing you can do about that.StallionsModelT wrote:Three straight games with opponents making double digit three point shots and a season-long trend of giving up the three. Ok now you have moved on to posting for shock value.StallionsModelT wrote:Emelogu is shell shocked every time he's on the court. Indecisive and timid. Wilfong needs to play before BE.
This was a guy that was a major contributor on an ACC team as a freshman and now he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. That and he's a turnover machine. He's had all season to prove he's worthy of minutes and he's been a disappointment in almost every game he's played in. Give me Wilfong.Stallion wrote:Ben E took 0 shots from field or the line, had 2 rebounds, 1 turnover-basically no factor-but why would you focus on his game today? Quit beating on the guy-he allows us to rest our 3 guards for a few minutes. He had less to do with winning or losing than any player on the Court.
They play different positions but other than that great point.StallionsModelT wrote:Thankfully BE has been recruited over with Sed and Shake. Next year he needs to be sitting next to the lobster or Mario.
