good sportsmanship between these teams at the finish...after some chippy moments during the game. I like seeing that. I like having Marshall as a conference mate and have always pulled for them

Despite the win, I never had a comfortable feeling for the direction of the game. We did what we had to do; however, there were too many mistakes to lend comfort. Young team trying to grow up.

Or a loss and a loss by Tulsa and a loss by Houston tonight. I like your scenario better though.

Of course you didn't, we're not a 2nd half team and we're SMU. We can never really feel comfortable with a game's direction.

The OL was the key to this game; they gave Z enough room and the big guy dominated this one; JJ was able to play very conservatively.
This one felt comfortable to me...even when they threatened to make things close, we stepped up
even covered the spread!

Too bad tulsa won today...hopefully usm dominates Houston and ecu plays as terrible as they did today next week against us

ECU doesn't defend the run well, we can exploit them but JJ will have to make a concerted effort to run the ball (hopefully we finally see the Wildcat, be the perfect time since ECU isn't prepared for it).

JJ will have to make a concerted effort to get the team ready for the second half for once

Nice job. Why am I still nervous with a 14 pt
lead? I'll be happy when that feeling goes away in the future.
Still can't put teams away yet.
Defense played pretty good in first half.

If we win the division with a 6-6 record and lose the conf. championship game, we can not go to a bowl with a 6-7 record as i understand it. We just need to beat ECU.
