For those bemoaning our perimeter defense. Remember Nick is a generous 5'9". Everyone he guards is pretty much 4-6 inches taller. Thus, even if Nick were tighter on them (thus exposing him to be dribbled around), they'd still have a shot. LB's strategy has been to let teams shoot long range all year, and we'll win 90% of the time. Even a team like ECU which shot close to 45% from 3's still lost to us. The games we've lost, we've been beat on the inside. Cincy manhandled us inside twice. Gonzaga ruled inside. Indiana beat inside and outside. Arkansas, inside and outside. UConn the second time rained threes in unbelievable fashion but still managed to stop us inside with several blocked shots. In the games where we control the inside on both ends, we win. That simple.
