SMU vs. NW for 25 in AP is interesting: same record (18-4), SMU is 2-2 vs. KenPom top 50 & NW is 3-2. SMU is 14-1 since Dec. 1, NW 13-2.

yup. we're nobody until we beat somebody.

unfortunately our schedule is extremely soft. Just have to keep winning.

You know it's a complete joke when Kansas goes to Rupp and beats Kentucky and loses a spot in the poll.

Would love to be in the top 25 next week so our matchup with Cincy can be a matchup of ranked opponents.

I understand why we're not ranked due to our schedule being weaker than anticipated, but man Northwestern's conference schedule so far is so underwhelming (like ours). I want them to make the tourney (as long as we do) just so they get off the "never been" list, but man what a conference schedule. Their conference wins are against all the bottom Big 10 schools. And the Indiana win came after Indiana lost their 3rd key player to injury. Playing Purdue and Wisconsin will tell us a lot about where they stand in reality.

Not many losses in the bottom half of the top 25 this week. #25 Northwestern will drop out after getting crushed in their only game of the week to Purdue. #20 ND has lost three in a row and they play UNC today so I gotta believe they drop out if they lose. #22 Creighton lost to Xavier so they might drop out but they also beat #16 Butler.

I think Iowa St jumps us with their win at Kansas and Xavier probably jumps us with their win over Creighton. I think we might land at #25 but the lack of respect for our team and league is real. Just got to keep winning.

I'm not going to think about this until the results are in on Monday. I was convinced last week that if we took care of business this week we would be in for sure, but there was just way too many upsets at the top and we needed them at the bottom.

What all of the top upsets really prove is that nobody is dominant and everyone is beatable but that's not how the poll voters will look at it.

SMU and Cincy (other than a loss to us at Moody) need to win out and meet again in the AAC Tourney finals for the AAC to have any hope of having 2 teams ranked this year. Only Temple has good non-conference wins against quality P5 programs so quite frankly our conference has not earned much respect. Time to get it done in the post season. Would be great to have both SMU and Cincy advance to Sweet 16 and for several other AAC teams to make noise in the NIT

I could really care less if we are 24-27 on Monday. What matters is we win out and pop Mic twice.

We are good enough to do it but it will require both luck and good health as well.

What a fun year.

Couldnt care less. Not could. Not sure how our entire country got in the habbit of saying "I could care less". Lol its a non statement at that point.

I am not making a dig at you. I got in the habbit of saying it that way too. I still correct myself all of the time when I say it.

I have been in your shoes. English is a strange nonsensical language at times
