I was actually impressed with the performance tonight. We didn't get absolutely smoked. Tech didn't cover. The total didn't make it.
Hopefully, BLM learned several good lessons. Not all INTs were his fault, but he is going to get credit for them. Overall, I was somewhat impressed with the way the Ponies handled everything.
Next week, the frogs get run over and gigged to death.

Hey, I am not all that disappointed. I saw effort and hard play to the end. Yep, mistakes cost us plenty once again. This is the growing pain. When the game film is broken down it will become clear that we were our own worst enemy and facilitated many of the points scored by TT. We went into the game petrified about the defense and it was the offense that made the mistakes and caused most of problems. I'm sure JJ will find some real positives particularly with the play of the O line with 3 frosh. Kicking game was great and the D had incremental improvements. It is all a learning experience which most of us understand and patience is a virtue.
Now the fans of #2 Ohio State, with all their 5 star players and hype, will understand and can join our plight as they watch a hapless O as USC systematically crushes them.

i have to agree, it could have been much worse. with such a young team, we need these types of games as lessons, though we need to start seeing some improvement week to week. hopefully as we get into conference play, we can start to see some results in terms of wins. i think the turnovers can be corrected with experience, but it's probably not going to show until we get into conference play. there were definitely signs of improvement in the line play. i am expecting a much better showing at home against tcu.
