You win a major lawsuit and it puts you on a high that crack can't replicate.

Green Elephant Way the best. Lets be honest, that was a big part of SMU for a great many of us....
ps- Was anybody there for its closing in December of 2004? One hell of a party.

Jenny Bear's was an awesome place. Cardinal Puff's wasn't too bad, either. And, of course, The Old Church!

Half-price night on Mondays after chapter meetings!

The small city next to Houston must not like SMU - none of the SMU affiliated names I submitted were approved. Same boring [deleted] names as usual were accepted. Would name the city but I still have variances I need from them.

I used to bartend at the Stables, but I imagine it was gone before most of you were born.

I would question hiring a lawyer who could compare crack highs to anything. At least publicly.

Hang out at the Dallas County courthouse and tell the people outside that you won adn listen to the responses. Sad but true. And my attorney who happens to be a SMU grad is now my little bulldog (she is cute by the way). Took me awhile to convince her that is a good thing to be called as an attorney.

Ok so the City of San Antonio just sent me the list of names that were accepted. The ones dealing with SMU are:
Perkins Path
Doherty View
Boaz Drive
Ownby Court
They did not like Bennett Way

Too bad you didn't try Shadow Lane. That might have worked. And, once again, I am not now nor have I ever been Lamont Cranston.

I was at the Elephant that night. Memory is a little blurry from that night, but I was there.
I'm pretty sure I paid the lease on that place for a few years.

Generally speaking, Cities check the submitted street names against their list of existing street names and they will reject those submitted that already exist or are too similar to existing street names that may cause confusion for emergency situations...such as an ambulance going to a street in the south part of town when they needed to go to the north part of town due to very similar street names. Bennett Way and Bennett Drive or Bennett Street could lead to some confusion.

Path? View?? Are those streets or hiking trails?
