Thank you.
For those who don't remember, here's a refresher:
Oh we see the Varsity, Varsity, Varsity,
As she towers o'er the hill over there.
And our hearts are filled with joy, SMU, SMU,
Alma Mater, we'll be true forever.
AND:
Hail to the red and the blue,
We're Mustangs from S.M.U.
Give a cheer,
Show your might,
Get the victory in sight,
For our battle cry will be
FIGHT-FIGHT-FIGHT!
Spirit's the best in the land,
And right to the end we'll stand,
For it's M-U-S-T-A-N-G-S,
FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

Seriously,
What Mack Brown does is get his players to want to play for him. He connects with them. That's why he recruits so well.
Think about this. Their depth is amazing. They win with no Limas Sweed and no Sergio Kindle.
I have had my questions about McCoy. But he showed me something in the 4th quarter.
And they are still in the BCS conversation.
BTW, let's beat Cougar High! I'll be watching

I've been a Longhorn fan since before '98 and I've honestly got to say I'd take Phil back over Brown. We've all seen some of the disasters Mack has skippered with the unbelievable talent/support that he has surrounding him in Austin. I can't imagine a team more consistently disappointing with the players it has. I shudder to think of the wreck he'd turn our team into. I don't think he'd be able to recruit any Vince Youngs at SMU to cover his inadequacies up.
I've read some dumb [deleted] in my day, but I'm nearly certain I have a new #1.

I'm sorry I missed that. That's very funny.
I think if you're Mike Gundy after your team just blew another big lead to Texas, you say, "I'm a man, I'm 80.''
Not funny but thought I'd throw it out there.

While watching the UT game yesterday I heard something that I can not believe but I am sure I heard it. I am too lazy to look it up, but the announcers said that not only had Mack Brown just won his 100th game at UT but that since he has been at UT he has lost only 7 road games. That is not just good recruits, but good coaching and good recruits. You can not argue one against the other with a statistic like that if true.
