I would like to point out that the only reason mrydel picked Rice is because he is on a low carb diet. Nobody hates Rice. Hating Rice is the same as hating yourself because of the humiliation of being dominated by such a pathetic program

I don't think SMU is in any position to hate anyone. We have met the enemy and he is us. That said I don't much care for Trinity in Dublin. Just because their library was used in Star Wars they think they are such a big deal. Get over yourselves Trinity-Dublin! Also I loathe Harvard basketball who should be eligible for the DP in a perfect world.

No I think it makes obvious financial and logistical sense to play NTSU as our annual cream puff game. Makes more at the gate, costs less for travel, gets more publicity in DFW and allows SMU fans to go to an easy road game. None of the other games make ANY sense whatsoever.

I've always liked UT. During my undergrad time at SMU I had lots of friends who went there. Many road trips to Austin during undergrad to visit them.
A&M is number 1 on dislike. Never got along with any "texasaggie" in my career or otherwise. We should also swap libraries with these types. Herbert Walker was an ok president. W is a ... well... I shall refrain. Needless to say W STILL has support from the 90 percent of "texasaggie" nation.
TCU used to be a cool school. Not anymore. TCU alums have the biggest inferiority complex and seem to hate SMU.
Oklahoma is just OKLAHOMA. An academically inferior public school with big attitude. I always root for Ok State to kick their [deleted]. People are nicer in Stillwater as well.
NTSU, North Texas Teachers College.
Arkansas, probably has quite a bit to do with the state its located in!!! "the only way to go is UP"
