When I need a break from mediocrity, I like to watch this short film clip at http://www.bobcatfans.com/multimedia.php (look for Texas State vs. Texas A&M). Sure, the Aggies defeated us 44-31 yet it produced some great traction for our program and we gave the Aggies all they could handle that night AT Kyle Field.
Check out Barrick Nealy's (Calgary Stampeder's by way of Minnesota Vikings) run at 12:24. Very mediocre.

And they think they're better than Sam Houston State.
Hasn't Sam Houston State changed its name a couple of times?
Texas State's color's are maroon and white? You learn something new every day. I thought they were maroon and brown. At least that was the color of the back of their pants.

The name Sam Houston has always been part of the school's name.

Texas State has had the name "Texas State" in it's official name since 1903. It was after 100 years, in 2003, that we eventually dropped the Southwest from the name.
Also, our school colors are Maroon and Gold, not maroon and white.
