So, any preference for the I-AA team we schedule when Washington State cancels the game next season?
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Why would that happen?
WSU needs to upgrade their talent level significantly and playing games in Texas will help their recruiting efforts (especially if it is a winnable game in their view). Heck, this year they will play ND in San Antonio. http://wsucougars.cstv.com/sports/m-foo ... cheds.html
I guess we just have to wait a year to find out if I am right.

hopefully if we are moving the TCU game to Oct 3 we will have a CUSA game Sept 12 and then have the bye week Sept 26. Would be a good week to have off after traveling to Wash St Sept 19 and preparing for TCU who will be coming off a trip to Clemson Sept 26

I agree with that school of thought. Rice might be a good one to get early, they will be breaking in a new qb, while replacing James Casey, Jarret Dillard, and a new o/c. UTEP usually starts off slow as well. The CUSA schedule should be out in a couple of weeks, should be very interesting. An open date before NAVY, would be nice too! We should be able to compete with Tulane. ECU usually starts off strong (2008), and returns a sixth year qb in Pinkney.

I just went through the 2009 nonconference schedules of all the teams we play (I know), unless there is some change or the info is wrong, SMU gets 9/12 off as every one of SMU's conference opponents has a game on 9/12.

We may have one home game in September (and that is the opening week of the college football season (9/5)) unless we play UTEP or ECU on 9/26.
