Dear Mr. Man-

You know who you are. You are the elderly gentleman who stands outside the Paul B. Lloyd center before every game and asks for extra tickets.

However, you never want to pay for them. You want them given to you.

You were in the same spot at the Texas State, TCU, Tulsa, and tonight, the Houston game.

According to you, you are trying to get you grandson into the game.

Unfortunately, I helped you out once, as I had an extra ticket. I didn't necessarily want to sell you a ticket; I wanted an SMU fan to see the game.

However, your schtick has not ended. I looked it up, and you can get an endzone seat for $14. Is that too much for you? Was the line at the ticket counter too long?

I don't think so. I walked over to the ticket counter after I saw you, and the line wasn't more than 5 people deep. Yet, you want a ticket given too you.

I give money to the athletic department, general scholarship fund, the Mustang Club, and the Cox fund. I also pay for a spot on the Boulevard.

But you still can't find it in your wallet to pay $14 for a ticket for you grandson.

Please, do me a favor. Take off that SMU Alumni hat and hide your allegiance. You embarass me

I have had 2 season tickets to SMU basketball for 7 years. As I live in Austin I can't make it to games. Is it possible to give them away, free of course, to someone that will use them? Terry Hemme told me they are great seats and to keep them. Yes, I have never seen where my seats are.

Thanks, 88. I had about 16 'extra' tickets last night. Made sure they got into the hands of Mustang supporters! I usually distribute them at the Special Delivery tent.

We are always trying to get people to the games, Mustang1965 provided some extras last night, and they were used by people that wouldn't have gone other wise. PM me if you want, and we will try and get someone in those empty seats!
