When you distort the position of another to the extent that you have, it is necessary to respond and make your true position known. To do otherwise would be letting someone else tell your thoughts to the world. Only a coward would not respond when you quote them and challenge them in the way that you have.
Oh good - another school yard internet fight. Those are always so productive and the particiapnts always come out looking so darn smart - such a good use of everyone's time.

This is correct. The kids have earned it. Bowl games are not designed for the average fan. If they were, the games would be played at the home stadium of one of the participants. Jones led the players, and the players performed. Again, my only argument is not wanting any let down in the quest for the Championship. You may not have this opportunity again next year. After we win it all, then someone other than I can decide where to play.
Mrydel, I have always appreciated you posts and think you are a great fan. But this post, I don't get. So by your logic football games in general are for the players only and not the fans, students, community, etc. So I guess it doesn't matter that we buy season tickets, gear, and support the team throughout the community.
I may be wrong but I think I said Bowl games, not football games in general. I think you will find that most Bowl games are not played in the community of either of the teams involved. They are played in areas that promote "good times" for the teams and whomever may attend, including the local residents.

exactly, bowl games arent a fans right its their priveledge... you either decide ur going to go or you watch it on tv... and theyre right JJ could care less about what the fans want, theyre not the ones paying him, nor are they the ones playing for him... plus if JJ took every fan into consideration the program would go down the shooter and you'll have a repeat of the past 25 years... you want that?? so i for one am glad JJ is JJ and does things his way... He gets the job done...
