I'm sure the postgame thing was magnified by Doh's understanding that this kids are playing for his job.
Man, I'm glad the Colts game conflicted with this thing tonight.

So did we actively sit on the lead? Play stall ball?

I don't think so, we probably wouldnt have gotten the ball inbounds much less a shot off. no, we got what we wanted, the ball in Williams hands. DWill beat his man badly, they foul the crap out of him at the rack from the weakside, no call, ballgame.

We stalled and we were not good enough to do it without turning it over repeatedly.
Watching Faye at mid court dribbling around taking off time until UAB just walked up and took the ball away was the epitome of the process.

nothing that organized. just got on our heels, scared, disjointed subsitutions etc. Missed a few free throws along the way including a 1 and 1 by Williams. Refs saw we were scared and gave UAB all the calls on both ends down the stretch.

And McCoy has an open 12 footer with a couple of seconds left on the shot clock, panics, drops the ball and ends up flinging it towards the basket after the shot clock expired. He did hit the back board although it was too late.

one of the most beautiful things I saw today was Georgia Tech 27, UNC 9 in the 1st half. Of course, Ga Tech tried to pull an SMU

Little point guard was yelling "this is our conference" - they acted
like they won the conf championship.
Our guys dont know how to close out a game. Is it Doh or they
are scared to lose?

such a painful loss. hard to swallow. team must be sick. How many times in the Doh era have we collapsed with 10 mins left, barely scored again, and lost a lead?

It was very close to a brawl after the game. If President Turner saw this, he would have a stroke.
