Just finished watching the replay of last night's game. I think Meghan Sweeney (graduate of last year's Pilot team) summed it up best, "This isn't the SMU team I remember." Loved seeing the girls play with belief. Would have been nice if they could have pulled off an upset, but what great experience for the team. As previously stated, Webb and the defense was terrific and we started creating some chances in the second half. Thought Bartol's second yellow was harsh, especially since she was on the receiving end of some hard tackles herself. Being down a (wo)man ended any chance of the Ponies getting a counter and the Pilots got their insurance goal while we were playing down.

Sunday will be another tough test on the road. #19 Oklahoma State beat UofO last night 1 to 0 in double overtime.

Oklahoma State #19 was outshot by Portland 18-3 today. Kinda puts our game Friday night into perspective.
