Ask your asst. coach friend, but I heard that JJ makes 2.8 a year here....Not to mention membership at DCC, Brook hollow, ect...After no state income its not a lot of difference...

Pretty cool to do what god has chosen for you at 2.8 mil a season...

I'm not sure he'd tell me if I did ask. But that sounds about right to me. At the very least he turned down an ACC program to remain here.

I understand that you love JJ, and black jerseys, and geldings, I am fine that you like that stuff....but I hate it...

I am thankful JJ came a helped turn around the program, but this guy is not the second coming...he is the highest paid non-bcs coach in the country....he is top 10-15 paid coach anywhere...He has a good gig and the grass is not always greener...

I love Peruna, red and Blue, and winning...JJ is not the only guy that can provide those things...

Do not over estimate the ACC. It is not as strong or balanced as you may think.

June Jones is a proven winner, and to make light of what he has accomplished at SMU demonstrates how short your memory is. If he leaves SMU out of frustration, it will speak volumes to all candidates.

There are 80 division 1 head coaches that want JJ salary and location....its not the same job it was 10 years ago...there is financial backing and an opportunity to recruit the best grounds in the country....Many at Miami thought they would never get better than Howard Schem. but on came another JJ...

It's all about $$$$
