Teams rumored to join in recent reports:

Air Force
Boise
Navy
UCF
Temple
East Carolina
Villanova
SMU

Now throw in conflicting stories, and it could be any of these six or teams not even mentioned.

HEY YOU! how about you copy and paste the damned thing? im asking for your own credibility cuz it is fleeing the building as we speak without any actual reporting to back up what ur saying...we all know '94 is full of [gary patterson] so we don't bother confronting him.

At one point it DID say Air Force Out, SMU In. That was a headline, it came from SOMEWHERE!

If it's 12 we have a chance. Still not in their top four though. We are likely out.

They've already kicked Temple out once (not that long ago).
Villanova would have to commit as an institute to moving up in football (they've had the opportunity for a while now and have balked).
ECU has applied 12,000 times and to no avail.
Academies are shoe ins if they want to go.
UCF make all the sense in the world, if USF will allow it.
Boise brings BCS points and that sweet Boise market.
And SMU, well we are SMU.

Nick,

If you clicked on Rumor Central and don't have insider, that headline appeared. Given that you do have insider, you never saw it.

gotta think Air Force is included for sure otherwise why would their AD have been willing to be quoted in the Denver Post? Also, i bet Memphis is fishing around. Fedex money might be enough this time. SMU should be attractive to them but who knows its just a cluster of a numbers game. thats why i say 'earning' AQ status is a nice idea, but a scary proposition because you never know if there will be a spot once you supposedly earn it.
