If UTEP beats UCF, the Miners would be bowl eligible. It would mean 4 out of 6 teams in CUSA West would be bowl eligible. Makes up for the crappy teams in CUSA East. The only 2 teams bowl eligible from CUSA EAST are USM and the winner of Marshall-ECU.

Don't like Cougar High, but a solid finish puts some money in SMU's pocket and hopefully some stability to a new BE.

CUSA West plus a slimmed 6 team MWC wouldn't be that bad of a conference, not that it beats moving to the BE

One must support the Cougs in this one. They deserve a shot at a BCS bowl and will hopefully pull off an upset and show everyone that they are a very good team. A one time only: " Go Cougs".

Especially since the Stangs are recruiting in California

If Houston goes to a BCS bowl, then all the other big name schools who have 9-10 win seasons should just join crappy conferences and go undefeated every year playing people like Tulane, ECU, and UAB.
