I went to the game and it was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with nice sunny weather. I was on the north side where both student sections and bands were located. The lower side was nearly full and was a great college game atmosphere. A large Houston representation. It looked liked people on the press box side moved to the north side to get into the sun where it was probably 15 degrees warmer. Wore my SMU red gear and rooted for the cougs. The score should have been much more lopsided. Now on to Birmingham.
