Been in the Dallas Morning News and several of the sports forums along with his wife's car accident. Lawyer fees are going to be pretty healthy.

That's some pretty ugly info.

Kinda strange that no charges have been filed and I believe she hasn't been ticketed.

Let's see....
We all know BBullock and ARichards played an important role in Baylor joining the BigXII.
Senators JRockeller, Mitch McConnell and DBoren have all recently been actively involved with re-alignment, and yet there appears to be a majority of Ponyfans who hope CJames falls flat on his face. Not very smart thinking, but of course nobody could accuse most on here of being strategic thinkers.
It was always a long-shot, but it would have been a plus for SMU athletics to have a prominent alumni in the US Senate.

I don't think anyone here disagrees that having SMU alumni in powerful positions is a plus. But after the whole saga at Tech, CJ was only going to embarrass himself by running for statewide office this year. If you don't believe me, look at the poll numbers.

The ridicule of CJames began pre-Leach.

Wow....did not know this either.
Not good for Tech when your coach has all these problems festering.

Report: Tuberville's wife in trouble?
LUBBOCK, Texas
The wife of Texas Tech head football coach Tommy Tuberville could face criminal charges in the death of a man injured in a car accident over three months ago. Ira Purdy, 87, who was injured when Suzanne Tuberville's car struck his after she allegedly ran a red light, died Feb. 17, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported. A criminal lawyer in Lubbock told Texas Tech student newspaper The Daily Toreador that state prosecutors can decide to charge people who run red lights with criminally negligent homicide or even manslaughter if the accident results in a death.
