I am disappointed in EA sports. It won't allow me to take away plays below a certain number.

Also SMUer, I didn't see you at the game. Was I not looking hard enough? I only saw a couple of scarfs other than mine.

Yeah, I was a wedding guest last Saturday. It looked terrible on TV. Sorry to play a part of that.

Yeah, because June is always sarcastic in TV interviews...

It doesn't need to be defended. He said what he said - who cares? If you want to continue to look for some ulterior motive that isn't there, fine. Whatever gets you through the day.

I just think that we need some more imagination on offense. I don't pretend to guess whether or not June has an ulterior motive when he does a TV interview. He said what he said and what he said is revealing.

Maybe Oliver Stone will make a movie.

That June does not see the need for innovating on offense

To follow up on CallenStang's reply, it shows that June sees no need to change to offense. In June's world, everything is hunky dory.

This summer, Bill Belichek, brought in some of the Oregon coaches to briefs the Patriots' coaches on how Oregon runs their no huddle offense. Bill Belichek is going to the NFL Hall of Fame as a coach. Nevertheless, he understands that other people have good ideas and tries to learn from them.

In contrast, June Jones' sends the message 24/7 that his system is written in stone. For example, he added Phillips to his staff and doesn't seem to have added any plays currently being run by TAMU to such good effect. Surely, Phillips learned something working with Sumlin and Kingsbury that could be used on the Hilltop?

Do I really think SMU only has 1 running play? No
Do I think that SMU could use some more running plays? Absolutely

I hope this is rehashed until, at least, kick-off on Saturday. Maybe a little more at halftime.

Thanks. Now GG had a good second half rushing. But with just one variation of one run, if it gets stopped, you got a problem.
