One never knows but having a high star player like Garrett might help with some recruiting. He can bring big time experience to the other players and knows the type of big time attitude a kid can sense on a visit. In the old days it was important to have the right player matched with the right recruit on visits. Gilbert brings more big time experience to our player base than we have had in a long time. And Gilbert knows the pressures and pitfalls of the big boy programs and might be willing to share his knowledge with recruits. Might not have anything to do with recruiting but it’s the first big time player we have had to help recruit in years.

we could probably win CUSA most years if we had nothing but B12 transfers...

CUSA is terrible. Finished with 3 teams with winning records.
