That doesn't make any sense nor would KHOU put anything like that about UH on air. Just stick to being a soccer mom and leave the pissing contest to those who know what they're doing. You make me laugh CK.....since I didn't mention which station in Houston, it seems you saw it on KHOU, this morning too!!

Hilarious and accurate.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security
I like how after I come in and debunk CA Mustang's posts, a bunch of you geniuses take the thread off topic with personal attacks so I will bring things back on track. We all know BBVA is too small for UH's fanbase and therefore need a much bigger stadium. Hence why Rice or even Minute Maid is ideal since Reliant likely won't accomodate us for those three games.
Like I mentioned on page 1, I'm personally hoping for Rice.

A team that gives up 38 points a game, scores 63 points in one game, 50 in another and STILL LOSES shouldn't butt into any quarrel.
Last I checked our D shut down the team that hung 72 on you and humiliated the UCLA team that wrecked you and sacked Brett Hundley repeatedly. Our D was bad but yours was worse when you look at common foes.

Also don't get me started on Texas State...
The only real way to settle this, is to play us but of course the coach you stole from us clearly said he didn't want to play us because it would only make your schedule more difficult. So just continue being like all of the other Big 12 teams who learned from Tech and Ok State's mistake and dodge us on a regular basis.
Hell, I'm sure you guys would turn down a BCS bowl game if we were the oponent. (a'la La Tech style)

What school is right there at the intersection of Less Sexy and Less Academic? Eat your heart out, Cougar King
If I were Cougar King I wouldn't worried in the least with this analysis. It has Dartmouth, DARTHMOUTH as one of the most academic and most sexy colleges around.
Now Dartmouth has fine academics to be sure but it also has Baboon but ugly women. I went to interview there and didn’t get 5 yards from the car before I turned around and left. My father asked why I didn’t even show up for the interview at Ivy League Dartmouth. I told him to look around, every girl in sight was but ugly! He never mentioned Dartmouth to me for the rest of his life.
If they think Dartmouth is sexy, then this can’t be anything more than a poor propaganda piece for super crummy schools. And regardless of other issues, UH has much better looking women than Dartmouth.

Lol, I'm not worried about the article at all. Soccermom only brought it up because she has/had nothing relevant to add to the discussion about the potential SMU/UH game site. So like a grade-school child, she started name calling. It's only opinion-stated stuff plus we're the only Texas school on there.
I generally like your posts but I really don't get you. There is no comparing SMU and UH on academics or campus setting. The vast majority of people I know that went to UH did so because it was a large commuter school that was easy to get in and easy to get out. That doesn't mean its a bad school or that it is something to be ashamed of. UH has made some fairly significant strides but UH is a lot closer to UNT and UTEP than they are to SMU. Sorry. Thems the facts.

When have I ever said UH was closer to SMU than UNT or UTEP as far as culture and school type goes?
This topic was about the SMU/UH game site being unknown and how I explained BBVA stadium being way too small for us seeing how it only seats 22k. We would sell it out very very easily but will have many fans locked out and angry.
CA Mustang derailed the thread by using personal attacks and tried to say that it would be a perfect fit if we have another losig season. Then because I proved him wrong, the personal attacks increased and then everybody else joined in when they all knew I was right. Let's not make things up now and stick to the thread topic.
I'm just asking. I am not from Houston and know very little about the infrastructure of the town football wise. I'm not trying to be smart or cute or start some 'mine is bigger than yours’ fight.
Are there any other colleges or High Schools with stadiums that could meet this games needs? And does the game need to be in Houston if there is a suburb with a stadium that meets the needs near by Houston?
Actually, CK, I just posted what I heard on the news....I didn't make it up, just made a statement on a site named PONYFANS......not cougar fans. If you don't like what I post on here, feel free not to read it.
