Proof with the right players that former CUSA teams can compete with top 10 nationally ranked teams and beat them.

I was pulling for UCF. However its hard to pull against bridgewater. Seems like a good dude, humble and was all class talking with O'Leary after the game. I think he is overrated as a QB but he looked good tonight.

I only see the positive in UCF's win...AAC is no deadbeat conference. SMU can defeat UCF at home, though...unless June pencils that one as a loss

How long ago was it that we beat down Bortles and Godfrey and UCF. Seems like years ago and here they still are, Bortles to Godfrey to beat a top ten. Have they out recruited us? I don't remember that. At least we'll have 2 ranked teams next week. Come up Houston and make it 3 ranked for the AAC.

Our beatdown of them occurred in 2011, Bortles stepped in at QB and they've went 15-5 since. Pretty clear that they've out-recruited and out-developed us, we saw proof of that last year when they steamrolled us in Orlando.

psssst...they have a coach who wants to chase/take down Top 10 teams...

Bortles looked extremely raw in that game against us...amazed at the poise he showed tonight...jealous of all these programs who we consider "peers" who get it, when we don't

They've outrecruited us every year for the last 5 years in average per recruit-in 2012 and 2013 we beat them in Total Points with larger recruiting classes when they only signed 17 and 18 players respectively

And Cincy and Memphis, also USF and UConn won't be picnics either.
Yes USF will score 6 special team/defensive TDs to upset Louisville because they can't even score an offensive TD in their victories. UCONN will definitely beat Louisville which will send SMU to BCS Bowl. You heard it here second-after SMU86

UCF now has the inside track for the AAC's BCS bid and they look pretty good. Very impressive road win last night and I watched them play South Carolina down to the wire. SMU has a long ways to go to compete with those guys...and we will have about 12k in the stands when we play them to finish what could be our most disappointing season in years

Do not worry. He will get hurt or suspended for our game and we will make a hero out of a walk on freshman.

Like SMU did against Rutgers?

Are we really comparing Louisville to Rutgers??? Lol. A ranked team at home... That comparison would be comparable to our game agains AM which how did that go again? Also didn't a certain coach call off the dogs like in the 3rd quarter?
You did not say teams crater when down by 3 touchdowns against Louisville, you just said it in general about SMU.
