I got over the ASU thing. What pisses me off is the fact he's completely mailed it in on recruiting and refuses to install a goalline set in his offense.

Watch our series of plays in the TCU game after the blocked punt at the 2. We ended up kicking something like a 40yd fg

mind reading? NO, pb. fact- he recruited for ASU while still employed by us
fact- his own kid posted on fb that this was the sh!ttiest program in the U.S.

It has been obvious for a long time that jj does not want to be here except for the money.
Sad because if he indeed is here next year this fball program is finished as far as moving up in the future. We can not waste another year or two getting our act together to be BCS competitive (opinion, not fact). The incoming recruiting class is probably the worst he has had since he started.
Not to worry, he will see by the number of people in the stands what we think of him.

Any hot SMU volleyball players want to do a little "under-cover" work for us and give SMU actual cause to fire JJ's sorry butt???

Even if JJ does hate it here -- and even if that ought to even matter as long as he's producing, which he undeniably HAS -- how much of of the hatred is deserved, is true? Is the SMU populace by and large supporting and warm, showing up in droves to support their team? No. Do we wecome non country club types, making it easy to recruit inner city kids? No. Are we soul and substance over external appearances? No. There are many things about SMU that I hate too, frankly. I have welcomed the infusion of soul that June Jones brought. It's been badly needed.

Is that what June is blaming his [deleted] recruiting on? Country club types not welcoming inner city kids? Give me a [deleted] break, ponyboy. I usually agree with you that JJ isn't the devil incarnate as some would have us believe, but his recruiting is awful and it's clear he doesn't care about it at all. He's content to field mediocre teams from here on out and has been ever since the ASU debacle. Someone needs to write him a check for $1,999,500 and a one-way ticket to Honolulu before he signs this deal

LB has actually tried to connect with the student body and fans to help with some of the obstacles. And in spite of the has landed Frazier, Moreira, and Mudiay. You can't be aloof and help the situation. But you still don't trash your current employer that has made you richer than you have ever been when looking for another job.

Notice how Larry Brown started all the bench players for the game in Chicago last night, which happens to be a high school basketball hotbed? We've never talked about june doing anything like that. Granted it's apples and oranges, but he's not creative.

He may have done that on a senior day for some seniors.

It's definitely official now. SMU is a basketball school. All hail the Godfather Larry Brown.

I wonder if the ticket office has seen a spike in ticket sales over the past few days for basketball season tickets.

No. June doesn't do that. Lots of seniors in past seasons got squat playing time or didn't ever start.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

June sucks at recruiting. That's established. I don't believe he even sees that as a problem. I do, but I dont think he does. He thinks he can make NFL Pro Bowlers out of Ford Stadium janitors. He does have some evidence to back that up. (Cole Freaking Beasley, all five foot nothing of a white guy that he is, starting over Miles Austin? Seriously?)

Look, SMU's cultural issues I mention above are real. One not mentioned is the culture of losing that JJ has gone a long way in eliminating. That same culture of winning now wants its creator gone. Analogous to God creating humans, a good portion of whom now no longer want Him around.

No. I am not saying that June Jones is a god, before anyone goes there

Those same "cultural issues" you mention are present at Baylor, TCU, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Notre Dame, etc.

I don't think this is anything other than posturing on June's part.

If its not, then you are going to be in for a treat next season re: ticket sales, recruiting, marketing, etc. This will be pre-Bennett level despair. SMU will have sealed its own fate if indeed this extension is real.
Back off Warchild seriously.
