Baylor coach Grant Teaff was quick to point out that the trick play was not called from the sidelines.
"It's an automatic call," Teaff said. "If we see them in a certain formation, we call it."
Teaff said the play was designed to maintain possession by getting a first down and that he was "the most shocked man in the stadium that it went for a touchdown.
"Shocked"? Yeah, right. Ray Charles coulda seen that coming.

Maybe true, maybe not, but I hate to see hatred formed on the basis of misinformation. If you want to dislike someone do so for the right reason, not from made of stories from the past.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
As a degree holder from both Baylor and SMU...I think it's great that SMU is making a run and is going to NYC. Might as well win it all. It's not the NCAA, but it's like a bowl game in football...you get to keep playing, keep practicing and that can only help for the next season...
Since Baylor is the 2013 NIT Champ, might as well keep the trophy in Texas.
As far as a little SMU-Baylor rivalry, I think MOST alums of each school have a little trouble whipping up serious animosity towards each other, but we do have a football game coming up in less than 5 months!
Baylor is an OK school in a terrible location. One of my classmates from hs, a top ranked kid did go there. Baptist influence was the determining factor.
Top disliked schools: UT Michigan Aggies Tcu Northwestern
I'm a big notre dame fan. Almost went there for UG. I think that's why I don't care for michigan.
