Tulane was a couple of years ago, I do not see the relevance. We beat Houston two years ago and actually play them this year. If you think the loss to Tulane from two years ago says anything relevant about our result against UNT this coming year, do you feel the victory over Houston two years ago augurs good results for us against Houston this coming year? If not, explain why Tulane two years ago is more relevant than Houston two years ago to this coming year.

June was on 104.9 The Horn in Austin this morning and said (paraphrased) "We are going to beat Baylor to start the season." Obviously he has to say that and everything but he sounded confident and wasn't sidestepping anything. Should be a fun game.

I can't picture JJ saying this.

Is there a podcast of it? If not I have to wonder about that statement as well.

I tried to find a podcast of it on 104.9 site but they only had a replay of the entire show. It was on the Chip Brown show or whatever it's called. They had Briles, Kliff, and some other coaches on this week as well.

Do you have the link to the replay? I would like to hear it.

He said the same thing last year about Tech at one of his foundation events.

SMU had Tech right where they wanted them last year. That was an Upset waiting to happen-even I had it as basically a Tossup although I thought Tech would squeak by

Sure did Stallion, that holding call on Line still burns me today... I really felt that was a big momentum changer.

it is neither more relevant nor less relevant. The Tulane loss highlights that we have a real chance of losing to them - we are not good enough to be confident we will beat anyone.

All I hope is that both Hawaii and SMU have poor seasons next year. . . FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. And it pains me to hope SMU has a poor record for the 2014 season. This $HITSHOW needs to come to an end.

I would be more annoying but I don't have a proper b--ching room or indoor excuse facility!
