Oh, and before I forget. Phantom of the Opera kid needs to just stop.
If you ever read this buddy, it's not working. Lock it away for some other special occasion not involving SMU bball.

Yeah, that one just doesn't work. Maybe go for Wagner soprano with Viking horns and shield.

All they had to do was go to some games! This is on them.

It's a dumb system. I initially thought it was a great idea, I couldn't have been more wrong and I don't blame the school one bit for trying it. However, it needs to be over ASAP, it has to be or we are going to be dealing with this the rest of the year.
The crowd sucks, figure out a way to make the fraternities do something they wouldn't otherwise and give them their sections back before it truly gets embarrassing.

So the frats are told to make a minimal effort in order to get the best seats, they are too lazy to do so, and we should reward that?
I'm all about increasing the atmosphere in Moody but the frats knew the system. They chose to not put in the effort to get the tickets. It's on them.

You got to live with the consequences. The fraternaties new the plan, they should have acted accordingly. It is too late to change the sytem this year. Next year is a different story. We have to make the MOB we have this year work.

OK, I guess I am going to have to really spell this out....
The current kids as a group are terrible - whatever system is in place that is keeping them there over others has to be scrapped. Sorry. That is the bottom line.
To elaborate though....There is also no reason at all to believe, even if fraternity kids did go to a decent number of events, that they would beat out the current MOB. I would love to see a point breakdown, but I am sure the ones down there virtually guarantee a ticket by going to almost everything. Again, that is great but it has yielded pathetic fans, which sucks but that is the truth.
I never said give the fraternities anything, but figure out another way to get fraternities in there. Actually, how about this. Let's figure out a way to at least get the vast majority of kids down there out. We can all agree on that, no?
Everyone knew the system, turned out it was really stupid system. As I said, I thought it would work. I want the best crowd, I don't care at this point how they do it, but tickets need to be allocated differently.

The MOB looks like Revenge of The Nerds and the Phantom of The Opera guy needs to be banned from Moody for wearing that stupid costume. Maybe we can give our tickets to games we can't make to fraternities. The University should have known the only people that would want to go to woman's Volleyball games etc. would not be the people they would want in the stands.
