Tahj Boyd was 6-0 and he did pretty well in this offense.

Yeah, no, I get it. I'm sure he's a great talent. Just smaller than I expected. That's all.

I'm interested to see if Hyder plays guard or center in this offense. I like Hyder over Barns because Hyder has the frame to carry a lot of weight easily, and I don't think Barns has that same frame.

A strong finish with English, Abercumbia, and West would push this class into the 60's. Beyond belief considering Morris inherited a one win team in December.

I am not real good with math. Is that better than 20 Division 1A offers with 114 recruits? Because that is the stat I am used to seeing for the last few years.

Well played.

Chad has done a phenomenal job with this class given the late start. More promising is that it is clear cm is laying the ground work for an even better class in 2016. I would very much like to see a top 50 class in 2016 and for us to compete for the highest non-p5 class.

tigerj, let me spell this out for ya: This is an SMU message board. People here are interested in SMU's recruits above other schools, so we aren't exactly jumping for joy whenever you post things about memphis. HOWEVER if you were to relate that to a common interest, such as how this is going to change the dynamic between the two teams on the field or compare and contrast recruits/ recruiting classes that'd be more than welcome.
Appeal to your audience, please.

judging by their offer lists they definitely seem like DITRs (which there is no problem with) just questioning why the excitement over 2 players with one p5 offer between them.

I will once again enjoy smashing all your P5 offer recruits with our 2* and 3* nobodies.
once again? and you've only smashed us ONCE and that's with a roster full of nobodies with less offers than your nobodies. This recruiting class is currently #2 in the conference with Morris only being on the job 2 months and with half of the class being junes recruits weighing that ranking down. class of 2016 is looking incredibly promising and while prospects may be looking good for memphis in the future, things are also looking great here. sure, ya may beat us next season but it will be nothing like the 48-10 game of 2014. Don't see where you got so cocky buddy, cause prior to 2014 we were kicking you into the mud and had 30 pt spreads going into the game.

looking at the schedule I only see 4 games that SHOULD be won but there's room for a couple of upsets. regardless, SMU will no longer be a BYE week on everyone's schedule.
SHOULD games- UNT,Tulane, USF, Navy
Toss ups/ Upset potential- Houston, Memphis, Tulsa, Temple, ECU.
With all the incredible offensive acquisitions, we should expect to have a very reasonable shot at a bowl. Remarkable improvement from being one of the worst teams in CFB history last season

Last time we beat Navy their boats were wooden.
