Really nice interview. Said he wants to finish his physics degree, make Walker Cup, go pro and be number one. Mentioned his tribute Payne Stewart with the Ben Hogan hat. What a great guy.

Very cool and the golf team has really produced to a high level.
When is the last time SMU won a NC either individual or otherwise? I should know but can't muster the memory?

I was wondering the same thing. It's In the press release...
"DeChambeau is SMU's first individual NCAA champion in any sport since women's swimmer Flavia Rigamonti won the 1,650-meter freestyle national title in 2005."

Really awesome. Impressive that he could make it happen with the unorthodox clubs. As the golf channel said, he believed it would work for him and it did. So glad for him.
