Don't know anything about Wilson being a ball smartly but from all reports McDowell sure seems to be one. I think McDowell backs up Shake and Wilson backs up KF as a solid shooter.

Don't think he was a primadonna demanding minutes. The young man has always carried himself in a very respectful way towards SMU. Just the academics things just did not click here. Also, was having a tough time learning the system like KF did in his first year. No need to bash the young man, Just sometimes things to do work and you move on.
For what it's worth, Larry threw him under the bus too in his interview yesterday, saying his family was mad about him not getting minutes. Like father, like son I bet.

Intersting, I read somewhere that he is a good ball handler and hence a Combo Guard. Any way we are loaded at 2,3!

Not to be the negative guy throwing around stereotypes, but now is when big programs would ensure that kids gets good grades because no one is going to do a deep dive into grades given a transfer so he can leave. Not saying that is cheating, just saying it happens. We need to get this kid set and out the door before the spring semester starts.
