rumor is also that some of this is about "losing face" with Shake taking his starting spot the second Larry gets back in the HC seat. Keith is highly emotional, in case you haven't noticed, which is both bad and good. He has had a ton of playing time, but he wants to go pro after this year and thinks his chance for that is diminished if he is coming off the bench, therefore why wait until the end of the season to bolt.

We will probably know soon enough, but I find it hard to believe this is over Shake jealousy or not starting. Keith has worked hard and become a MUCH improved all around player so I just can't see him pi$$ing it all away now over that.

I have to agree. It just doesn't make any sense. Pouting after all that's been done for him?
And besides, he's always appeared to be a team guy even when things weren't breaking his way.

I'm inclined to agree but I won't be terribly surprised if we are wrong.
And, if Stallion's suggestion is accurate then that whole "spending time with his mom" thing is a heck of a jab.

Keith has a lot of raw abilities a few else have at this level. Emphasis on the word raw. I have always been in the camp that he was better driving than shooting but I could be wrong. Regardless, if someone reins in his tallent then he is worth it.... someone better than LB? Goodluck

Enjoy this...we're undefeated and down to 7 players. This is a screenplay. Aging legend, talented but depleted team, playing for pride. This whole season will be an epic roller coaster w/Wilfong hitting a game-winner. Lots of human interest, great moments, sob story ending.
Then, the most epic Spring in SMU hoops history. It's going to be a free for all
