It's just Memphis and Navy and both coaches have a rep for developing QBs. Don't expect a huge drop-off at QB for either team.

Memphis lost their HC and that could have an impact. Navy has a great HC, I bet they don't lose a step.

Bercovici is such an impressive QB....and Norvell's record vs Texas schools is even more impressive. 0-2 so far. ( lost to Aggy and tech.)

The UH comparison makes no sense, especially if you're using 247. Here's UH's list of commits on 247 http://houston.247sports.com/Season/201 ... ll/Commits. I guess you're correct that UH's 2 stars didn't have any P5 offers, but there is only 1 two star on the list vs 10 for SMU. And the 1 UH 2 star had an offer from SMU. For the other 18 recruits, there were 15 three stars, 2 four stars, and 1 five star. SMU had 0 five star, 0 four star, 15 three star and 10 two star

And if you want to go with Rivals, UH has 6 two stars with 3 of them having P5 offers. Meanwhile SMU has 22 two stars.

Taylor Kelly was pretty impressive too. Not sure what Norvell's record versus Texas P5s has to do with anything though.

I see 4 of 10 for SMU (although counting Kansas as P5. There are sunbelt teams better than them)

For UH 2 of 6 but 2 of 5 if you dont count the JUCO transfer

So 40% of 2 star HS commits with at least 1 P5 for both schools
