I am not sure anyone would want to go coach there right now. That is a mess.

I hope this does not occur on our campus. And by "this" I mean coaches protecting these types of players/predators and selling their souls to win games. Way worse than paying players or providing extra benefits to players.

June & Co shuffled at least one off campus before it happened to him.

How does Phil Bennett survive this, much less get the HC job? It was his players who are accused of this mess, he should be out on the street every bit as much as Briles. Not to mention, his defenses suck.

If I'm Baylor I go running to MS to take this job.

SMU Football Blog wrote:Coaching searches are largely about ego. Baylor can't hire a 2-win coach from SMU.

Plus, SMU was his "dream" job. BU would be his "nightmare" job.

I feel sorry for Baylor, I mean it's not like they falsely accused a murder victim of being a drug dealer.

Just kidding.

Yes, anyone makes sense as long as it is not Chad Morris.

Everyone wanted Briles fired now he is. But as a result SMU may to have to fight to keep Morris.

From the press release under the "personnel changes effective immediately" section:
The Board of Regents has created the full-time position of Chief Compliance Officer that will report directly to the Office of the President.
Are you seriously f-ing telling me they didn't think they needed one til NOW??? Can't wait to see how the NCAA white washes what appears to be the textbook definition of Lack of Institutional Control

No, I don’t think the NCAA would or should propose Baylor penalties due to moral missteps. One lesson learned from Penn State.
