APR is bad but not irreparable

after reading Hart's statement, LB seems pretty selfish here. Especially with having his agent do the dirty work.

That makes more sense and the kids we have should be able to perform. Then I could see an extension offer.

Wonder how Shake is taking it. He is the one I worry about.

So you are turning on the coach that helped SMU get to relevancy. While we may not like him not accepting a a short term contract there is no reason to bash the man. If we had not had Coach Brown we probably would have went to the NIT nor NCAA tournaments nor gotten all the high quality players we got.

SMU was nothing when Larry Brown came here. We should have made it work and ensured there was a succession plan for Jank.

I don't care the baggage he brought, he is a living legend and we should have treated him accordingly. Shoot overpay the man. With all the inefficiencies in the school, this is the one area were it is actually in the school's best interest to keep the train rolling.

Offered LB a contract through 2020....I'm sorry but that seems more than fair to me for a 75 yr old...especially with all of the trouble we've had

Basketball has been cruel to me this past week as a Thunder and Pony fan.

Yes I said that out of spite and tried to delete it immediately but left it to show my idiocy

I guess we will see how recruiting goes now that we can't say come play for a Hall of Fame coach anymore. Only time will tell because no one really knows.

It is pretty funny that a 75 year old Coach would quit over only getting a 3 year Contract. Optimism

From everything that was said while Jank was at the helm it appeared all the kids liked him and thats all that matters. No one will transfer and the current players are the best recruiters we have.
