Good decision. He was already banged up during the year. He did not need to risk injury. ESPN showed a list of players that went to bowl games and got hurt thereby losing millions. Not worth the risk. His teammates are intelligent enough to understand.

I liked the announcers comment that SMU's bench might be short but they sure are athletic.

obviously our best half of basketball so far this year. Guys have 19 FG on 15 assists. Love the chemistry they are developing. Also plus 5 on the boards and holding Stanford to 20% shooting. Stanford has not had a lot of open looks. Even Gu is on tonight (except for those missed FTs). Hope the guys can keep it up in 2nd half so minutes can be spread around to "rest up" for another game tomorrow night. Would love to see 6 guys in double figures tonight

As they said most coaches only run about a 7 or 8 man rotation anyway.
