Understand that I am nothing beyond a casual fan of basketball. I have never played on an organized team, coached, or studied basketball strategy in any way. And yet I remember watching the Doh teams and thinking that the players were poorly coached and played scared, the ever-changing system was all wrong, and the wrong players had been recruited for what he was trying to run. If even I notice those things, then you know there is a problem. It was almost like Doh suffered from basketball ADD or something.
And on top of that, the PF basketball board was even a dark place in those days because there was one guy who defended Doh to the death and brutally insulted everyone else on here. Don't remember the guy's handle. . . but I remember never wanting to visit the basketball board b/c I didn't want to read the garbage he was always spouting.
And then one day. . .Doh left, we hired LB, the pro-Doh guy left PF (or was banned), and lo and behold. . . everything started to look up!!

Used to sit center court on the bottom row of the bleachers across from the TV cameras during the later Allen and then the Bliss years. A lot of the home games were telecast locally, and during breaks in the action the cameras would focus on my buds and me. My Mom finally sent me a new sweater because she was embarrassed that I seemed to wear the same one every night.

Probably correct. It was also said that Doh posted under some name.

I heard that Doh put together most of his gameplans based on feedback from the PonyFans community.

I particularly enjoyed the game where he basically gave up and sat down the second half while Jalen Jones ran the team. I believe we actually won that one. Of course, he was already basically gone at that point. I think it was the day after Valentine's Day against UAB...

UAB 47 SMU 28 at Moody.

SMU made 8 of 46 shots. It was the lowest scoring output ever in a Conference USA game and the lowest ever scored by SMU in the shot-clock era.

For profit with more money than they know what to do with. And their AD used to be on staff at SMU
