Hicks makes 3 straight bad throws. Not a positive way to run the 2 minute drill.
Re: OFFICIAL: SMU vs. SFA Game Thread
No sense of urgency on that last drive.

Wish those of you unable to attend could be here. Beautiful night for football and nice to have a comfortable game. Need more accurate passing but running game looks pretty good.

Looks like a sparse crowd. Wish I was there.

Hopefully the stream will hold for the 2d half. SMU lost focus and got sloppy the last few minutes and the staff will need to get them back.

Maybe ESPN didn't anticipate the millions of Pony fans trying to log into see the game?

Yeah, and Epps was wide open on the west sideline on that first throw.PoconoPony wrote:Hicks makes 3 straight bad throws. Not a positive way to run the 2 minute drill.

Has Josh Shelmire seen any action tonight? I heard he was still developing.

Very pleased with the score of course but hicks does not look good, no throws down the field. Hopefully we'll settle down here to start the 3rd. Play Gillens and see how he does here.

In case you missed it, Gillens did lead one TD drive. I am sure he will see more time and Peavy too.

Lots of single coverage on Sutton and they are not even looking at him. Not sure if that is intentional or not.

So can anyone that is able to watch it give us a summary?
Re: OFFICIAL: SMU vs. SFA Game Thread
Ponies only have 77-yards passing? Wow.
Running game seems to be working.

Passing game just a little off. Running game good. Opposition weak.
