And for the really bad.

Woof. UCF doesn't shock me. It sucks they are gonna take some loses without Taylor and then be better in conference play. Temple losing to La Salle is shocking. Thats a WKU type loss.
So far it looks like Cincy and WSU are clear cut 1&2. Temple, UCF and SMU should fight for 3rd place, all have talent, but have work to do. UH and UConn look like they are in the next tier. Will win some games, but should finish mid pack.

And when all is said and done, the AAC should have those 7 teams competing somewhere in post season play...either that, or someone really surprises all of us between now and March Madness
USC looks like they are going to fall to A&M by double-digits. Will still be a huge game on Saturday. It is gonna be tough, but we can beat these guys.
I have to imagine USC drops to like #18 or worst which puts us with not a great win and possibly a hurtful loss because it is at home. If Zona doesn’t get on a big win streak, we are going to need to beat USC and TCU. It’ll help the conference and especially help if we come 3rd or 4th in the conference.
A&M is wicked good this year with road/neutral site wins over WV and USC. Top ten good! That recruiting class of Davis/Hogg/Gilder is really bearing fruit.
I can only hope we get basically half our production from our THIS YEARS freshman class two years from now. It can happen.

It does rub some shine off of our game but it's still a quality opponent and would not be a hurtful loss, Moody or not.
With Arizona dropping like a rock, SMU is going to need some quality OOC wins. We need to win 2 out of 3 of the USC, TCU, Boise games. And if Boise starts dropping they may not even be a quality win.

I agree we need 2 out of 3, but Arizona is still gonna be a top 50 win by the end of the year. They get one of their best players Rawls Alkins back soon and they are a young team they will figure it out.
We still need 2 of 3 though for another quality win and to avoid going into conference with 4 losses. If we go in with 3 losses and two top 50 wins we will be in great shape. We had two top 50 wins ALL last season. Since Pitt ended up sucking and TCU was top 60. We should get a chance for at least 5 more top 50 wins in conference with (Temple, WSU x2, and UC x2).
