I understand playing scared with an NCAA bid riding on the line but after 4 consecutive losses and nothing to play for just relax and play free. No excuse for our freshmen to play timid at this point.

That is exactly why I thought at halftime the game was over. We may win the second half by a couple of points, but down 9 if you can't score it is game over. With only McMurray as an offensive threat we don't even have a puncher's chance. Poor McMurray, he was a one-man show at USF and comes to SMU to win only to have injuries derail the team and become a one-man show again.

Not sure which is more disturbing...Ethan's decline post illness/injury or Douglas' failure to ever emerge. Had hopes for both of them. Landrum currently out playing both of them but he just can't shoot.
