Proche's catch to win the game vs Tulsa 2019. I was about 10 rows back in that corner of the end zone. Knew he was in before they even thought of reviewing it. Insane.

Bumping this thread because a) itΓÇÖs kinda quiet on this board and itΓÇÖs a good topic; and b) I think this is the last
time Stallion posted. (ItΓÇÖs now been more than a year. Where are you, Stallion?)

My answer is still Austin, 1980.

Did anyone see him at a game in 2020? I didnΓÇÖt go to any last year. I saw him in 2019.

He's not on 247 PonyStampede anymore either, hope he hasn't passed on to the Hilltop in the sky.

2005 win over TCU. Ponies first win over a ranked team since 1986 and TCU was ranked #22 after a road win at OU the week before. DeMyron Martin ran amok.

1982 #4 SMU @ #19 Texas...beautiful sunny mild day in Austin. Drove over from Houston on the Mustang Club bus but missed the ride home, for obvious reasons. That weekend was just the perfect party flow with SMU kicking the ΓÇÿHorns as_...ran on to the field after the game and gave Dr. Shields a noogie. Great trip.

'64 Navy game most exciting by far. Roderick running wild.
'65 Texas game most enjoyable. Hagle juked Nobis out of his cleats at the 5 and was gone.
A long tradition of existence.

Oh gosh, I had my disagreements with the guy over the years but I was not aware he may have passed. He was very opinionated and lacking people skills, but he certainly sure knew his Mustangs facts and attended games unlike most SMU fans. God Bless Stallion wherever he is.

He is probably stalking Chad McMorris with a Allen Eagles shirt.

Miracle on Mockingbird - no contest

Honorable mention

McDermott to Jeremy Johnson to beat TCU

Kato Armstrong & Todd Alexander leading Ponies over #3 Florida in Reunion Arena (1987?)

Garrett Gilbert to Jeremy Johnson on the ridiculous 2-point conversion against Rutgers
