If we can contain Ridder, we win. If not...

Do you think Memphis put the same level of focus and effort into ECU (or UTSA) as they did for SMU? I'd wager that they didn't.

Probably not, and SMU didn’t put the same effort into Tulane that they hopefully did for Memphis. SMU needed that win.

Now that Sonny is all but gone…do the players step big time or fold like a cheap card table? I say they show up….

I hope so. Fickell has one foot out the door as well (U$C?)- shouldn't that impact Cincy just the same as the Dykes drama at SMU?

Don't believe Fickell is going anywhere. He is an Ohio guy and will probably wait for Oh. ST. to open up. If OSU loses to Mich. this year that change might be very quick.

The only place Fickell will leave for is Ohio State.

Looks spot on. Wonder if this makes TCU rethink.

Was just hoping our guys would be competitive in this game and at least be better offensively. Oh well, put this game behind us and take it as a measuring stick game that reminds us this is not a Top 25 SMU football team. Sure would be nice to finish strong with 2 more wins to go undefeated in Ford and win 10 games. Tulsa is coming off a thrashing of Temple on their Senior Day and needs to beat our guys next week to become bowl eligible so could be a good one played in front of about 12,000
