Tulane has a pretty stout defense but not much offense. Currently tied at 14 but I expect Houston to prevail in the end. Tulane now down to their 3rd string QB
Future conference mate UTSA up 31-20 at Middle Tennessee, a team coming off an upset win at Miami. SDSU up 13-0 at Boise State, the latter seems to be a program losing it's luster having already lost to Oregon State and UTEP

That was incredibly dumb.
Challenged his team and shouldn't have. They just aren't very good right now.
Good conference games this week. Tulane upsets Houston using 3rd string QB. Their defense is for real. Can Tulsa beat Cincinnati? Navy v Air Force. And SMU v UCF on Wednesday.

Will be interesting to see if Tulsa can hang with Cincinnati in Tulsa tonight. Will also be watching OU at TCU and Michigan State at Maryland to see how good those two teams that beat us really are

Did SMU f-up not retaining Sonny? TCU is looking great. I just hope this shows SMU isn't that bad, and we can still win AAC.
Remember Sonny said he decided to leave SMU because he had taken the program as far as he thought he could. Remains to be seen if Lashlee can be the guy who gets SMU back to winning games in November, competing for championships and winning bowl games, something Sonny could not accomplish at SMU.
