Austin completes 36 holes at minus 4 and is right on the cut line while Harry through 27 holes is still at even par so it looks like his hot streak is coming to an end. Time for him to get ready for the U.S. Open at Pinehurst. He will have a short commute from Greenville, SC

Austin actually finished at minus 3 and Harry at one over and both missed the cut in this week's Korn Ferry event. Will be interesting to see how Harry does at Pinehurst next week

Bryson DeChambeau, Mac Meissner & Harry Higgs all get to participate in one of the toughest tests professional golf has to offer this week at Pinehurst # 2. The new greens will test the players' patience as they will be like trying to get a ball to stop on a sloped concrete driveway. Try to keep it below the hole this week, guys!

Bryson is up 3 and gets a nice story in the
Washington Post that includes the importance of Payne Stewart in his career -- " . . . Bryson DeChambeau, who is playing this week with a cap on his bag honoring Payne Stewart, a fellow SMU alum who memorably won the 1999 U.S. Open on this same course."

That sand shot was epic. Great win. Sort of feel bad for Rory, but those Pinehurst greens are tricky for a reason. Congrats to another Mustang golf legend in the making. Now on the the Open and hopefully win another one.

Meanwhile, Harry Higgs is continuing his strong play on the Korn Ferry Tour with a 4th place finish in Oklahoma this past week. He's currently ranked # 2 on that tour and has earned $428,875 but even more important, he's earned an exemption to play the PGA Tour again next season. Found this article that some might enjoy:

Did not notice that Mac Meissner was also playing in Detroit this week. Both Mac and Kelly missed the cut and will be going home early
Meanwhile, at the Korn Ferry Tour event in Illinois, Harry Higgs sneaks in right on the cut line while Austin Smotherman misses the cut by one stroke.

Meissner starting strong at the John Deere. He's birdied his 1st 3 holes today (Saturday) to get to 10 under

After birdies on his 1st 3 holes today, Mac birdies # 8 to get to 4 under before a double bogey at # 11 sets him back but he finishes with 3 more birdies for a 5 under round that gets him to minus 12 and currently T-25th, 5 shots off the lead. Austin birdies his 18th hole and finishes with 4 birdies offset by 3 bogeys that moves him into a T-40th for now
