Watch the game and was pleased to see we didn't chunk up the 3 pointers like theNBA. Worked the ball and got good shots. If we could make some lay ups in the first half the second half would have been played differently. Worried a bit about the number of offensive rebounds Cal got. Need to get better on the defensive boards. Solid win. Wish Moody sounded more enthused on the broadcast.

I saw an smu team play a different game.
To win in post season you have to be adaptable to the opponent.
Good exposure and training.

I tuned in for the 2nd half and was really disappointed seeing all the empty courtside seats

I don't think the weather had a big impact on the attendance last night, I think the Louisville blowout and the inability to even be competitive with Duke have been a reality check and dampened enthusiasm. I wish it weren't so, but SMU fans don't show for meh.

Announcers commented that even though Cal was out of time outs it was so quiet the Cal coach could easily talk to his players as the game went on.

Hubby - it was at the game - it was a decent crowd - the attendance was 5600+ - what you said that the announcer said was BS - while the noise level wasnΓÇÖt at the level of the Larry Brown days, it was fairly loud throughout the whole game except for the last minute and a half when over half the crowd exited

Don't know if something is off with the broadcast audio (and if it is, SMU should fix it to capture more crowd noise), but it sounds like a morgue on TV. Actually, the band sounds pretty faint as well, so maybe there *is* something wrong with capturing the ambient noise?

It was not bs. The announcer said that the Cal coach was out of time outs but that it was quiet so the players would be able to hear his instructions from the bench. DonΓÇÖt know if it is the tv sound or not but there is no crowd noise at all during the broadcast

I think that is large part due to the poor attendance from the owners of those courtside seats. It was obvious during the telecast that there were lots of empty seats and that's where the most impact on the opposing team is going to come from
