Though a tough loss for you guys, I hope you guys truly understand what a fantastic coach you have in Larry Brown.
As a longtime UCLA and basketball fan, he is the easily the second best college coach I've seen in over 40 years of following college basketball. The only better coach was John Wooden. The only drawback to Mr. Brown has been his propensity to seek greener pastures. Hopefully at 74, he has nowhere else he wants to go.

The ball was off to the right of the rim and the ref that made the call was to the right so he didn't have a good angle to determine goaltending accurately. The ref to the left, where the shot originated from, didn't make the call. I bet this might be a future rule change at some point to review these calls. I am actually somewhat surprised it isn't reviewable.

Thanks, i think we all know how great he is and appreciate his presence with us. Hopefully, we can keep him while his kids are studying at SMU. If his daughter enrolls next year that will hopefully mean at least 4 more years.

I doubt UCLA will waltz into anything-they aren't that good.

Well, we built on the NIT last year. We need to build on this to advance next year.

Here'e the thing about that [deleted] call, while I think it's goal tending and yanick is an idiot, if the refs hadn't called it, no one would have been clamoring about it.

No. He tap the ball away from the UCLA player then gained control. Note after the tap there is two hand control move before the next dribble. This one is frustrating to old school guys but one can tap and bounce a ball around without control all day long. Its only after control that double dribble, palming, carrying, walking, etc. come into play. This one was pretty easy by modern officiating standards.
