Get last years Padron and hold onto that first fumble and it'd be good!

Turnover stastics dictate an almost impossible chance of winning. We are lucky to have had a shot. I still think the TD before half was the killer.

Which is a welcome relief after what we've experience playing in Lubbock the past couple of times.

SMU didn't quit. A better result than previous years. Good luck next week.

I would have a pithy comment, but the waitresss just brought me a double (about time).

give the defense credit for keeping us in this game until we could get something going looking forward to seeing more of DJ and Fields as the year unfolds. They look like playmakers Oh...and I want to see Padron hit Al in stride when he's 5 yds behind the defense

Plenty to work on for next week, but a heck of an effort. Not giving up and fighting until the end is something that will serve us well.

the D really hung in there, CUSA better watch out. If Padron calms down this will be a fun season. We beat the Vegas odds while giving up 4 turnovers. 2 years ago this would have been a blow out.

This team is head and sholders above teams of the past! They NEVER quit! Our defense was outstanding. FOUR turnovers to ZERO for them and we still lose by only 8 points! I am proud of these guys!
Long live Inez Perez!

It is obviously not a critical loss; however, much work to be done by the offense to get into sync and make better reads. Padron has a long way to go before his reads are up to speed and his receivers also made a bunch of poor reads and stalled the offense. Should be interesting to hear JJ comments at the luncheon. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in PA and cannot attend until I make it to Dallas for the UAB and WSU games.
