Props to Tubs for not being a classless [deleted] like the "LEECH" and trying to score again with a minute and a half still to play!
That wasn't a matter of having class. If the other team has 0 timeouts and you have the ball with 1:43 left, you take a knee. Any play you run there gives SMU a chance to get a turnover for a score.

I disagree. His coverage has generally been tight; however, he needs to work on body position to react better.
He got beat on the same play twice; both went for touchdowns. He never looked at the ball. He made no attempt to play the ball or play defense on the receiver. There's your game.
Not to mention he made a horrible play on the ball in the 4th.
All that, coupled with 3 turnovers that all led to points, I give this team credit for not quitting. A few adjustments on D, get the offense lubed up and running on all cylinders, and this team should be fine.
UAB is less than a week away.

Agreed. I actually wish him luck and hope he shows the Pirate idiots that Tech can win with class and sportsmanship.
You ponies could definitely use some lessons about class and sportsmanship too. Maybe Tubs can find the time for a trip to Dallas?
How was Potts not flagged for throwing a ball into an opponents face? How many times did #20 throw a punch and not get called? Watch the tape again and then tell me again about class.

As if the "LEECH" ever concerned himself with Down and Distance and Time Remaining if he could run up the score!
We're talking about Leech in comparison to Tubs and not intelligent FB tactics!

Yeah, we are lucky that Yenga didn't flip after potts threw the ball in his facemask. that clip should be sent to the league office; Taunting and lack of sportsmanship.

Tell that to Leach of 2004.

With a game beforehand to work out some kinks we would have won this game. This team looked out of sorts early likely due to the lack of hitting in the offseason.

We watched the game from NY, glad we weren't sitting in that heat, never mind playing in it. We were real proud of the Mustangs! The defense really hung in there and looked great. Yes! I agree that if this hadn't been the first game, Padrone would have worked off his nervousness and we probably would have beat TT. We were initially just hoping they would stay within the spread considering they were playing a ranked team, but instead they beat it. GO PONIES!!!

We need to start scheduling a D1AA game first to get tuned up instead of a tough game.

For those that were at the game -- were the WR's covered all game long or did Padron not have enough time to make the reads?
I was surprised that our offense looked so out of sync. I'm not sure I saw one route over the middle all game that was thrown. Al was non-existent.
