the sad thing about the state of SMU football is that we are getting blown out when we are not necessarily outmatched physically. I just watched us dominate TCU on the line of scrimmage in that 1st half and then at the 1st sign of adversity, we fold out tent. I felt the same way about the TTech game. We have at least reached a point where our guys don't look (physically at least) like a Division II team going against a Division I opponent.
this is a very fragile football team being lead by a coach who appears to be just going through the motions and in that 2nd half we did look like a Division III team going against a Division I opponent
SMU football is painful to watch, but I will keep following and supporting them because I'm a glutton for punishment. I'm just so thankful we hired a basketball coach who appears to be building a program we can enjoy supporting
